What does Affiliate Feed Search do?

Affiliate Feed Search downloads and merges many datafeeds from various affiliate networks into a single searchable database.

You can then search for a product and the system will find all the relavant records and give you a list of all the merchants stocking the product along with a deeplink for the product. Store your own affiliate network ids in the system and the deeplinks provided by the system will be automatically ready for you to use on your website.

If you have multiple accounts with the same network(s) Affiliate Feed Search allows you to create multiple profiles within the system so creating your deeplinks could not be simpler.

Currently supported networks:
Affiliate Window
Buy.At
Trade Doubler
Webgains
DGM Pro
Paid On Results
Affiliate Future

I havn't received an activation e-mail, what do I do?

The most common cause for this happening is the mail getting caught by a spam filter because you've never received e-mail from us before. If your mail system has a spam folder check that the e-mail is not there.

You can make sure you get e-mails from us by adding "support@affiliatefeedsearch.co.uk" to your contacts/whitelist.

If you still can't find your confirmation email contact support for futher assistance.

What extra search options are available?

When you search for a product there are some extra options available to help refine your results.

Return records containing...
This drop-down box give you three choices for how the system searches for your keywords.

ALL of these keywords - Returns records containing all of your specified keywords.
eg. Searching for "xbox 360 console" will return records containing "xbox" AND "360" AND "console".

ANY of these keywords - Return records containing any number of the keywords you have specified.
eg. Searching for "xbox 360 console" will return records containing "xbox" OR "360" OR "console".

EXACT entire phrase - Return records containing the exact text you entered.
eg. Searching for "xbox 360 console" will return records containing the exact text "xbox 360 console".

Including partial matches...
With this checkbox ticked the system will return records that only partially match your keywords.
eg. Searching for "xbox" will return records containing "xbox360" AND "xboxconsole" etc.

Results per page
You can also select how many results to show on each page in the account details section.

Networks & Merchants
To embed your network ids into the generated deeplinks you need to create a network profile

To choose which merchants you want to search you need to create a merchant profile

What is a network profile?

Your account will allow you to very quickly create different profiles. This is a feature which is useful if you have more than one account at the same network (e.g. at Affiliate Window).

This way when making a search you can select WHICH affiliate account id you would like to be embedded in the generated deeplinks.

For example if your MAIN profile in the feed search account includes your Affiliate Window id "12345" but you want to create deeplinks with a second Affiliate Window account id: "67890" you can simply create a second feed search profile for use with this id.

Your account will always need at least one network profile.

What is a merchant profile?

When you search for a product in the system all merchants will be searched by default.
If you would like to only search a specific set of merchants you can create a merchant profile.

A merchant profile is a named group of merchants which you can restrict your search to use.

For example if you wanted to only search "Electrical" merchants you could create a merchant profile containing only merchants such as Dixons, Currys, Comet etc. Then the system with only search those merchants rather than all of them.
